We started March Madness tracking around 36 million brackets in the major online games (Men’s Bracket Challenge Game, ESPN, CBS, Yahoo!, USA Today, Sports Illustrated and Kalshi). We estimated more than 14,000 brackets were left after Thursday's 16 games and then 224 still perfect after the first round ended on Friday. We then lost all but four brackets after Saturday's eight games.
